Adventure isn’t a reward, it’s a right.

I’m Nick…
I started The Adventure Dog Project because I believe every dog deserves more than the basics , they deserve a life that’s fulfilling, enriched, and full of small adventures that make them who they are.
For me, training isn’t about following a rigid method or belonging to a particular “camp.” It’s about understanding each dog as an individual: their emotions, needs, and what truly makes them thrive.
Using welfare-priority, outcome focused techniques, I help dogs and their humans build trust, confidence, and communication that works in the real world.
Adventure might mean hiking through the woods, or it might mean a calm, confident walk around the park.
Whatever your dog’s version looks like, I’ll help you get there.
Credentials
I’ve been lucky enough to study with the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training (CIDBT) where I’ve picked up certifications including:
- CIDBT Higher Certificate in Advanced Professional Dog Training Instruction (Professional Practice)
- CIDBT Advanced Higher Certificate in Canine Behaviour & Aggression Studies for Professionals
In addition to
a lifetime around my family dogs, I’ve also spent over 100 hours volunteering with the Dogs Trust Dog School as an Assistant Coach, and continue to support Pawprints dog rescue as a volunteer.
I also support the Advanced Dog Owners Initiative (ADOi) by sitting on their steering committee.
