Fun walks and enrichment for your dog in Leamington Spa
We all know that dogs need exercise to thrive, but it’s not always straightforward to give our dogs the exercise they need with the busy lifestyles we have these days. Work, life, health – it can all get in the way.
That’s why we’re here. To give your dog the fun and enrichment they need, and to give you the space to deal with everything life throws at you, comfortable in the knowledge that your dog isn’t being impacted and they have a great time, in a safe environment.
Being trained in Canine Behaviour, we’re perfectly placed to make sure your walks are set up specifically for your dog’s needs. This includes making exercise and adventure possible, even for dogs who might have been refused elsewhere.
Choose your dog’s adventure
Different dogs have different needs. The whole point is to meet their needs and make sure your dog is happy and healthy, and that you see the benefit when you get home from work as well.
Group walks
For those who enjoy the socialisation of being part of a pack out on a walk, and can enjoy stress-free, polite group interaction, group walking is available.
Solo walks
For those dogs that either want full focus for their dog, whether that’s because their dog is enjoys their own company best, perhaps isn’t so keen on other dogs, or is a larger dog that warrants its own space and focus to keep it happy and safe, Solo walks with full dedicated focus are available.
Family walks
And for those of you who have formed a closely knit and cohesive pack unit at home, family pack walking around Leamington is available as well.
Walking options in Leamington Spa
Leamington Spa is a great place for your dog to get out and about, whether it’s in the popular spots for doggos to meet and engage with other dogs, or quieter, more private areas where your dog can sniff and explore completely stress-free.
Some of the walking spots we use in Leamington Spa include:
Newbold Comyn Country Park
Newbold offers an awesome space for dogs to explore, with big open spaces on the football fields where dogs can safely go off lead (dog depending), along with acres of space with patches of woodland, ponds and grassy spaces. Perfect for sniffing (and chasing the occasional squirrel)
Victoria park
A great big open space, great for dogs who will benefit from being around people and enjoy watching the world go by. Walks are possible along the river towards Warwick and onto St Nick’s Park.
Jepherson Gardens
For the dogs about town, maybe for those with littler legs, Jephersons Gardens is a beautiful spot for an on-lead walk in beautiful surroundings.
Local countryside footpaths
For those dogs that want to get away from it all, Leamington Spa is surrounded by farmland, patterned with footpaths, where you can walk for miles without seeing another dog. It really is a fantastic environment for dogs that need their own space to safely and comfortably get the exercise they need.
FAQ’s
While we’re able to walk larger breeds, and those that might show a degree of reactivity to their surroundings, we’re sorry to say we’re currently unable to support any breed specifically listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act.
Yes, we collect, depending on your circumstances, we might either collect from your location with a vehicle, or the walk may start from your home.
Yes, we’re fully insured to transport and walk your dog, as well as for cover for any shared keys and indemnity against damage to your property, or harm to your dog.
We use a range of equipment and, like everything we do, we prioritise welfare when suggesting any equipment we might use.
Typically, we will use your equipment when walking your dog, provided it is safe, secure, well-fitted and doesn’t have the potential to cause harm to your dog or the person walking them.
In the case that your dog has specific needs, we might make use of our own equipment. Our equipment set includes Flat collars, Martingale (Half Check) collars and slip leads. Dogs pulling on equipment is undoubtedly harmful to the dog, and any equipment we use is employed gently and kindly to get to a point where we can walk your dog without it pulling on equipment and causing itself harm.
We’ll always talk to you about what equipment we recommend we might use with any particular dog. If we feel we’re unable to walk your dog safely due to requirements the owner insists upon around equipment, we will decline to walk that particular dog.
To deal with things like traffic and other unplanned doggo situations(especially if you are part of a group walk) the way we set up our walks is generally based around a time window (2-3 hours) where we’ll pick up and drop off your dog, rather than a specific drop-off or collection time.
If very specific timings are required, please let us know when you get in touch, and we can look at what might be possible.
During periods of particularly hot weather, you can either choose to cancel your walking slot and use your walking credit at a future date when the weather is cooler. Alternatively, we operate a limited number of very early and very late walking slots to enable your dog to be walked during the cooler hours of the day.
For wet and cold weather, we’re all about the adventure, so we wrap up and crack on – Unless you or your dog would prefer that we didn’t. We give your dog a clean off and a towel down at the end of the walk before they come back to you.
This depends very much on the dog and the group, and your wishes. We’ll talk to you about this when we have an intro. Other options, such as the use of long lines, are possible for dogs who have a tendency to get interested in squirrels or other dogs and the like.
Yes — I can accommodate various times. Let’s talk about what your schedule looks like and find a slot that works for both your dog’s routine and yours.
Reactive, Challenging or Sensitive Dogs
Adventures for dogs who need a little extra understanding.
Walking a reactive or sensitive dog can take it out of you. You set off hoping for a peaceful stroll, but before long, your dog’s on high alert — barking at another dog, tensing up at a passer-by, or pulling like a freight train. It’s stressful, and it can make even short walks feel like a mission.
But here’s the thing: avoiding walks isn’t the answer.
These dogs need walks — maybe more than most. The right kind of walk can change everything. It gives them an outlet for their energy, a chance to decompress, to sniff, to move, and to find confidence again in the world around them.
That’s why I offer calm, structured walking and enrichment sessions designed specifically for dogs who struggle with reactivity, frustration, or general unease outdoors.
Building Comfort First
Before we ever hit the pavement or the park, we take the time to get comfortable.
I’ll spend time building familiarity with your dog — short, relaxed sessions to let them get to know me in a way that feels safe and pressure-free. That trust is the foundation for everything that follows.
Once your dog is ready, we’ll move into gentle walks that focus on:
-
Calm movement and steady pacing
-
Natural enrichment through sniffing and exploring
-
Avoiding unnecessary triggers while still building confidence
-
Creating predictable, low-stress routines around going out
It’s not about pushing your dog into difficult situations — it’s about helping them find small, consistent wins that build towards a more relaxed and enjoyable life.
Why These Walks Matter
For dogs that struggle, the world can feel unpredictable and overwhelming. Without regular, positive exposure, that stress can build up and make home life harder, too. A well-managed walk gives them both physical and mental release. It helps lower anxiety, burns off tension, and supports a more balanced emotional state.
This isn’t about forcing socialisation or flooding dogs with experiences. It’s about giving them a safe outlet to just be dogs again. To move, explore, breathe, and discover a bit of peace outside.
A Walk Worth Looking Forward To
These sessions are for dogs who need someone calm, patient, and capable. Someone who won’t rush them or judge them for finding life a bit harder. Each walk is adjusted to your dog’s comfort level, so they can relax, decompress, and start to enjoy being out in the world again.
Because for dogs like these, a good walk isn’t a luxury, it’s essential. It’s where confidence grows, stress eases, and the first steps toward real adventure begin.
